In the summer of 99 We headed off on a surf trip that altered our, well, at least my, perspective on things, here are the pics!

The Roofless Motor
Un fortunatly, as we had to rip the roof off the car to fit the boards in, we took a soaking when it rained, hence the rain coats, i distinctly remmber, before the heavens opened, we were admiring the tumulescent sky, the heavy thunderclouds forming, and thinking, (whilst dressed only in shorts) how cool. Then it rained, and well, we got wet. The car packed up, the lights went, we were stranded in one of the three lanes, not knowing where. Still we perservered and made it surfing, after seeking refuge with Pete in Bristol, thanks to Pete and Nikki for their repeated hospitality. |

Wetsuits
Very possibily one of the hardest things to get in and out of. As a matter of interest for eddie. I have since taken two other people surfing, and both of them put the suits on with the zip forwards. One of them was a girl, but Pete has no excuse!

Dr Pepper
Along with steak and, well, anything else that could be eaten in a bun and cooked only with one a knife and a BBQ, Dr Pepper was eddies drink of choice, Personally i think it tastes like shit. (notice the similarity between eddie and the bloke on the advert, kinda uncanny!) |
